I as the chairperson would like to welcome all the new members and thank the current members for there ongoing commitment and dedication. now for those who you who have just joined if you wish to put anything on the website or blog just let or Keith know and we will try get it up asap. now I bet a lot of ye don’t know what you have signed up for well its a lot of work giving up free time in evenings and at weekends but one thing I can guarantee you is you will meet amazing people and makes some incredible friends as I have during my term. If you ask any member who’s involved or who has left they will tell you about the amazing and eventful trips we have shared with both the Dunlaoirg rathdown Comhairle and the Donegal Comhairle. so not only do you make friends within your own county you would most probable have ever meet but you get to make friends with people across Ireland. Everyone gets something different out of comhairle but they will all tell you they never wanna leave. unfortunately due to the weather we had to cancel the meeting last weekend but we will get to meet you all hopefully the start of january and will get to start to know each other and build a bond that will be so strong you will wonder how you survived without it. so i hope you are all looking forward to getting involved in making a change for yourselves your community brothers sisters and other family members because the work we do is very really and very important and is differently not tokenistic. You will find out so much about yourself you never knew gain some really good skills and qualities like so many of us who have been involved have. you don’t have to be the smartest person the sportiest the most popular to be apart of comhairle cos we need people from every back ground with many different interests to keep this being the success that it is.
So i will like to welcome you to the start of an amazing experience that will stay with you for life
